The Love of Jesus Never Fails

The love of Jesus never fails because because He hopes that we will be what God wants us to be rather than what we are right now. He knows that we will become complete at the end of the shaping process.

"Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me." (Php 3:12, NKJV).

The love of Jesus never fails because He endures all of our childish behaviours by not just knowing that we are weak, but have offered Himself as a sacrifice to take care of the petty or besetting sins that we might do by the old sin nature that dwells in us until the end of our lives.

"If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself." (2 Tim 2:13, NKJV).

The love of Jesus never fails because He believes that we are not a product of our behavioural doings, but beings who live because of receiving God's life through Jesus whom we have believed. Jesus has displayed us before God in the beauty of His own perfect undying love and not based on our fleshly failing sinful nature within. All that Jesus did for us and that He is now, is already ours as we keep believing the captain of our life and the sweet lover of our soul.

"9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power." (Col 2:9-10, NKJV).

Jesus died your soul to save;
For your life He freely gave
All He had in heaven above,
Just to show His wondrous love.

Wondrous love so rich, so free--
Can it truly be for me?
Yes, dear friend, 'tis true, 'tis true,
All Christ did, He did for you.
