Experience True Peace

PEACE is not the absence of the Storm, it IS THE ABSENCE OF THE FEAR OF STORM.

The freedictionary on the net says 'peace' is 'Inner contentment, serenity, state of tranquillity, free from strife, keep/hold (one's) peace, to be silent.'

I would like you all to understand 'peace' deeply through this following short story.

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them.

One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.

But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.

Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why?

"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."

Think about it saints, if this earthly king can value a painting in which a small bird was at peace in the midst of storm, how much more our Heavenly Father will cherish all the sight of us His children STAYING CALM with His great peace IN OUR HEART, in the midst of all the storms of life we face and do come out of it victoriously undisturbed by His mighty power that works in us (Eph 3:20; Phil 2:13). I believe, surely all of our earthly trials in which we were PEACEFUL IN THE MIDST OF STORMS WE FACED in our lives journey will be kept by our Heavenly Father in heaven as a digital mounument for all see for eternity ahead. Praise the Lord!

The GREATEST BLESSINGS any human can experience on planet earth, that is costlier than the costliest commodity is PEACE. People can buy anything for money except peace which only God can give. Being rich and becoming one does not gurantee a peaceful life, instead it increases peacelessness and break people in to pieces rather than giving peace normally.

When the Lord blesses His people, He starts with peace first and then slowly later starts to bless people financially, materially and socially, so that in His time no sorrows will be added (Ps 29:11; Prov 10:22).

Hear what God instructs us through Apostle Paul, "6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank him for his answers. 7 If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus [when facing through the storms of life]." (Phil 4:6-7, LB).

"22 [Jesus is saying to you today]..., "Don't worry about whether you have enough food to eat or clothes to wear. 23 For life consists of far more than food and clothes. 24 Look at the ravens--they don't plant or harvest or have barns to store away their food, and yet they get along all right—for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! 25 And besides, what's the use of worrying? What good does it do? Will it add a single day to your life? Of course not! 26 And if worry can't even do such little things as that, what's the use of worrying over bigger things? 27 Look at the lilies! They don't toil and spin, and yet Solomon in all his glory was not robed as well as they are. 28 And if God provides clothing for the flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, don't you suppose that he will provide clothing for you, you doubters? 29 And don't worry about food--what to eat and drink; don't worry at all that God will provide it for you. 30 All mankind scratches for its daily bread, but your heavenly Father knows your needs. 31 He will always give you all you need from day to day if you will make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
" (Luke 12:22-29, 31, LB).

May our Lord JESUS look towards you in His favour and empower you to be at peace with God and men, then help you to receive the precious peace of God that passes all your natural human understanding, by giving all your burdens as soon as possible to God through Him.

"TRUE PEACE is a knowledge of the unconditional Divine Love that comes between us and God when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, which must also be received from God through Jesus Christ from time to time to keep ourselves calm in His sovereign protection and replace every weight of earthly toiling wage-less worry with the free heavenly reward of peace that cannot be understood by our logical mind." - Abraham Israel
