The Gallon of Milk

The Gallon of Milk

A young man had been to Wednesday night Bible Study. The pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the Lord's voice.

The young man couldn't help but wonder, "Does God still speak to people?" After service, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message.Several different ones talked about how God had led them in different ways.

It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home. Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, "God...If you still speak to people speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey."

As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk. He shook his head and said out loud, "God is that you?" He didn't get a reply and started on toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk. The young man thought about Samuel and how he didn't recognize the voice of God, and how little Samuel ran to Eli.

"Okay, God, in case that is you, I will buy the milk." It didn't seem like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the milk. He stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home.

As he passed Seventh Street, he again felt the urge, "Turn down that street." This is crazy he thought and drove on past the intersection. Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street. At the next intersection, he turned back and headed down Seventh. Half jokingly, he said out loud, "Okay, God, I will."

He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like he should stop.He pulled over to the curb and looked round. He was in a semi- commercial area of town. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of neighborhoods either. The businesses were closed and most of the houses looked dark like the people were already in bed. Again, he sensed something, "Go and give the milk to the people in the house across the street."

The young man looked at the house. It was dark and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already asleep. He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat. "Lord, this is insane. Those people are in bed and asleep, and if I wake them up, they are going to be mad and I will look stupid."

Again, he felt like he should go and give the milk. Finally, he opened the door. "Okay God, if this is you, I will go to the door and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for something, but if they don't answer right away, I am out of here. He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise inside. A man's voice yelled out, "Who is it? What do you want?" Then the door opened before the young man could get away. The man was standing there in his jeans and t-shirt. He looked like he just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn't seem too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep. "What is it?" The young man thrust out the gallon of milk. "Here I brought this to you."

The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway, speaking loudly in Spanish. Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk toward the kitchen, the man following her, holding a baby. The baby was crying.

The man had tears streaming down his face. The man began speaking and half-crying, "We were just praying. We had some big bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn't have any milk for our baby. I was just praying and asking God to show me how to get some milk." His wife in the kitchen yelled out, "I asked him to send an Angel with some. Are you an Angel?" The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had on him and put in the man's hand.

He turned and walked back toward his car and the tears were streaming down his face. "He knew that God still answers prayers."

From this story we can learn two important things in our spiritual life and apply it daily in our lives. Firstly, always learn to hear the voice of God in your spirit-man which is the temple of God (1 Cor 6:19), from which God always speaks through His small still voice if we are willing to hear His voice and obey it (Heb 12:25).

Secondly, If we give ourselves to be used by God willingly and act by faith, God will use us in miraculous ways to bless people.

So always be ready to say to the Lord from your heart, "Speak Lord, for thy servant is listening." (1 Sam 3:10). Who knows, next time some one may be reading what God has done in your life and be blessed like you are blessed now. Much Blessings.....

Don't be too B-U-S-Y!

Are You Too B-U-S-Y?

"Do not be ignorant of Satan's devices and therefore allow him to take advantage over you." (2 Cor 2:11, Abi's Paraphrased Version).

Addressing a worldwide convention of demons, Satan told them:

"As long as Christians stay close to God we've no power over them, so:

1) Keep them busy with non-essentials.

2) Tempt them to overspend and go into debt.

3) Make them work long hours to maintain empty lifestyles.

4) Discourage them from spending family time, for when homes disintegrate there's no refuge from work.

5) Overstimulate their minds with television and computers so that they can't hear God speaking to them.

6) Fill their coffee tables and nightstands with newspapers and magazines so they've no time for Bible reading.

7) Flood their letter boxes with sweepstakes, promotions and get-rich-quick schemes; keep them chasing material things.

8) Put glamorous models on TV and on magazine covers to keep them focused on outward appearances; that way they'll be dissatisfied with themselves and their mates.

9) Make sure couples are too exhausted for physical intimacy; that way they'll be tempted to look elsewhere.

10) Emphasize Santa and the Easter Bunny; that way you'll divert them from the real meaning of the holidays.

11) Involve them in 'good' causes so they won't have any time for 'eternal' ones.

12) Make them self-sufficient. Keep them so busy working in their own strength that they'll never know the joy of God's power working through them.

Do these twelve things faithfully. I promise-it'll work!"

Have you figured out the difference between being busy and being successful in what God's called you to do?

Sometimes being B-U-S-Y just means Being Under Satan's Yoke!

Keep praying as Ephesians 6:17-20 says, " 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."

READ THE WORD OF GOD DAILY and MEDITATE on it, BROWSE through it again and again, SPEAK and MUTTER it over and over again and finally LIVE THE WORD. PRAY daily for YOURSELF, for YOUR FAMILY, for YOUR CITY, for ALL SAINTS and for ALL THE PREACHERS AND TEACHERS OF THE WORD OF GOD to be effective in extending the kingdom of God! When you do these things all other things will fall inline with the will of God and you will make sure that your guard against Satan's devices of deception are always up and active to keep it always defeated. Best Wishes!

Jesus And Gabriel : An Animated Talk In Heaven

Certainly God has given the glorious gospel in our heart to share it with all others and save as many as He has appointed for eternal life (Acts 18:9-10; 13:48).

This is a animated story about Gabriel and Jesus speaking to each other the moment He entered heaven after His ascension from the mount of Olives.

Meeting Gabriel, Jesus stated that He had completed His divinely appointed task.

"And what is your plan?" enquired Gabriel. "How is the Gospel to be spread? Did you leave a big strong organization on earth to carry out your plan?"

"No," answered Jesus. "I left no such organization, only a small group of disciples, mostly of very humble birth. They are to tell the world".

"But suppose they fail you," persisted Gabriel, "what plan have you then?"

"I have no other but I rely on them", replied Jesus.

Every act of God since creation is a 'missionary act'. And, 'Mission' is so close to God's heart that He sent His only Son, Jesus to make it possible to reach man.

Today, almost two thousand years later, Jesus still has no other plan. In order to fulfill His Great Commission, He is relying upon you.

So shake yourself up for a great end time harvest of souls that is ahead of you and get excited for the oppurtunity that God has given you to fullfill His Plan of eternity. Surely Jesus is relying and counting on you to fullfill His ETERNAL PLAN FOR HUMANITY. Praise the Lord!

The Need of this Hour - Prayer Quotes

"Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth. God does nothing but in answer to prayer." — John Wesley

"It seems that God has indeed designed that the inspired Word of the Bible become uniquely powerful by passing through a Spirit-filled person on the way to make a dead heart live." — John Piper

"You know the value of prayer: it is precious beyond all price. Never, never neglect it." — Sir Thomas Buxton

"Prayer is the first thing, the second thing, the third thing necessary to a minister. Pray, then, my dear brother: pray, pray, pray." — Edward Payson

"The act of praying is the very highest energy of which the human mind is capable; praying, that is, with the total concentration of the faculties. The great mass of worldly men and of learned men are absolutely incapable of prayer." — Samuel Taylor Coleridge

"I urge upon you . . . a nearer communion with Christ, and a growing communion. There are curtains to be drawn aside in Christ that we never saw, and new foldings of love in Him. I despair that ever I shall win to the far end of that love, there are so many plies in it. Therefore, dig deep; and sweat, and labor, and take pains for Him; and set by as much time in the day for Him as you can. He will be won with labor." — Samuel Rutherford

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." — A. W. Tozer

"The man who comes to a right belief about God is relieved of ten thousand temporal problems…" — A. W. Tozer

"He is looking for voluntary lovers: people who long to know Him more than anything else; people who will live lifestyles of prayer, fasting and meditation on the Word of God because they hunger to know a holy God; people who will seek the knowledge of God because they want to be transformed and invited into the deep things of God’s heart." — Corey Russell

"If the anointing which we bear comes not from the Lord of hosts, we are deceivers, since only in prayer can we obtain it." — Rev. Charles H. Spurgeon

"Speak for eternity. Above all things, cultivate your own spirit. A word spoken by you when your conscience is clear and your heart full of God’s Spirit is worth ten thousand words spoken in unbelief and sin. Remember that God, and not man, must have the glory." — Robert Murray McCheyne

"All the minister’s efforts will be vanity or worse than vanity if he have not unction. Unction must come down from heaven and spread a savor and feeling and relish over his ministry; and among the other means of qualifying himself for his office, the Bible must hold the first place, and the last also must be given to the Word of God and prayer." — Richard Cecil

"God wants men on the field who can pray. There are too many preachers now and too few prayers." — J. Hudson Taylor

"Satan dreads nothing but prayer. . . . The Church that lost its Christ was full of good works. Activities are multiplied that meditation may be ousted, and organizations are increased that prayer may have no chance. Souls may be lost in good works, as surely as in evil ways. The one concern of the devil is to keep the saints from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray." — Samuel Chadwick

"The Holy Spirit will give to the praying saint the brightness of an immortal hope, the music of a deathless song, in His baptism and communion with the heart, He will give sweeter and more enlarged visions of heaven until the taste for other things will pall, and other visions will grow dim and distant. He will put notes of other worlds in human hearts until all earth’s music is discord and songless." — Rev. E. M. Bounds

[ E. M. Bounds was a Pastor around the time of the American Civil War. It is said that he prayed daily for three hours before he would begin work on his writings.]

"A certain preacher whose sermons converted many souls received a revelation from God that it was not his sermons or works by all means but the prayers of an illiterate lay brother who sat on the pulpit steps pleading for the success of the sermon. It may be in the all-revealing day so with us. We may believe after laboring long and wearily that all honor belongs to another builder whose prayers were gold, silver, and precious stones, while our sermonizings being apart from prayer are but hay and stubble."  Rev. Charles H. Spurgeon

"Fletcher of Madeley, a great teacher of a century and a half ago, used to lecture to the young theological students. He was one of the fellow-workers with Wesley and a man of most saintly character. When he had lectured on one of the great topics of the Word of God, such as the Fullness of God’s Holy Spirit or on the power and blessing that He meant His people to have, he would close the lecture and say, “That is the theory; now will those who want the practice come along up to my room!” And again and again they closed their books and went away to his room, where the hour’s theory would be followed by one or two hours of prayer." — Rev. Hubert Brooke

"The prayer of faith is the only power in the universe to which the great Jehovah yields. Prayer is the sovereign remedy."  Robert Hall

"During the great Welsh Revival a minister was said to be very successful in winning souls by one sermon that he preached—hundreds were converted. Far away in a valley news reached a brother minister of the marvelous success of this sermon. He desired to find out the secret of the man’s great success.—He walked the long way, and came to the minister’s poor cottage, and the first thing he said was: “Brother, where did you get that sermon?” He was taken into a poorly furnished room and pointed to a spot where the carpet was worn threadbare, near a window that looked out upon the everlasting hills and solemn mountains and said, “Brother, there is where I got that sermon. My heart was heavy for men. One night I knelt there—and cried for power as I never preached before. The hours passed until midnight struck, and the stars looked down on a sleeping world, but the answer came not. I prayed on until I saw a faint streak of grey shoot up, then it was silver—silver became purple and gold. Then the sermon came and the power came and men fell under the influence of the Holy Spirit.” — G. H. Morgan

"Study universal holiness of life. Your whole usefulness depends on this, for your sermons last but an hour or two; your life preaches all the week. If Satan can only make a covetous minister a lover of praise, of pleasure, of good eating, he has ruined your ministry. Give yourself to prayer, and get your texts, your thoughts, your words from God. Luther spent his best three hours in prayer."  Robert Murray McCheyne

Aspire to Inspire

This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to make a good and rewarding choice to use it for the God who has given it to you or as you will. You can waste it or use it for the Glory of God. What you do for God today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for Him. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind in God...let it be your footprint that leaves a mark of eternal inspiration for your aspiration to do something good in God. When you lose yourself in God, you never waste anything really in life, but you are investing in a life which comes back to you in fullness and abundance of eternal dividend that can never be destroyed.

Just read the poem about life that is written by a woman who did invest her life in God and made a mark of inspiration for the whole world to see.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

- Mother Teresa

When people fret and fume about the piteous state of the world and the direction in which it is going, tell them what Mahatma Gandhi said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." So learn to see life as you want it to be rather as how it is in the present time.

"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." (Rom 8:19).

May the Lord help us live as His sons and daughters of royal glory and bring the chage the world is thirsting to see. Amen!

Use Holy Alphabets!

"1 God, we look forward to praising you in Zion. We will keep our promises to you. 2 All people will come to you, because you hear and answer prayer. 3 When our sins became too much for us, you forgave our lawless acts. 4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to worship you. You bring us into the courtyards of your holy temple. There in your house we are filled with all kinds of good things. 5 God our Savior, you answer us by doing wonderful things. You save us by your power. People all over the world and beyond the farthest oceans put their hope in you." (Psa 65:1-5, TNIV).

The Holy Alphabet

A lthough things are not perfect
B ecause of trial or pain
C ontinue in thanksgiving
D o not begin to blame
E ven when the times are hard
F ierce winds are bound to blow
G od is forever able
H old on to what you know
I magine life without His love
J oy would cease to be
K eep thanking Him for all the things
L ove imparts to thee
M ove out of "Camp Complaining"
N o weapon that is known
O n earth can yield the power
P raise can do alone
Q uit looking at the future
R edeem the time at hand
S tart every day with worship
T o "thank" is a command

V ictorious in the sky
W e'll run the race with gratitude
X alting God most high
Y es, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but...
Z ion waits in glory...where none are ever sad!

Even though we may be facing trials in our life, our outlook towards life should be by seeing through the wonderful abbreviations of these HOLY ALPHABETS. Whe we learn to speak this way of life, even the hardest trial may be sailed through from strength above. Never forget to say to God like the king Asa did in one of his hardest time of life threatening trial, "...“LORD, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O LORD our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude [of problems in our life]. O LORD, You are our God; do not let man [or devil] prevail against You!"" (2 Chronicles 14:11). In other words, as we confess to God and praise Him for who He is to us and the power of His might over every circumstances we face, we are telling to God that it is not against us these problems of life are coming, but against Him who does not allow anyone to stand against Him and glorify in their own strength. I promise you, God will be very pleased with your prayer and will also strike those demonic or man made problems with a vengeance. As He was pleased with king Asa and struck his enemies, exactly in the same way He will help you too (2 Chron 14:12-13). As the Scripture says, when God arises His enemies will flee (Psa 68:1), this is what happened to Asa the king who praised God and it will also happen to you as you keep pronouncing those HOLY ALPHABETS in your life with expectation. Hallelujah!

Be A Persevering Spiritual Butterfly!

One day a man found the cocoon of a butterfly. Later that day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and could go no further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly expecting that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would surely contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man in his kindness—and haste—did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening was God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Exactly like that man who cut the cocoon to relese the butterfly prematurely, many times we try to by pass the suffering God allows us to go through in life and then we fail to grow in the Lord and inherit the spiritual blessings appointed for us now and for eternity.

Some of us think that if there is any hardship that comes to us, it is not from the Lord and it is from the devil, so we must resist it and reject it completely. Yes you are right, but God has a choke chain attached to Satan's head. Unless he allows, nothing of the devil can touch you. So you better resist the devils activities but not the trial itself like Paul the Apostle. Trials and suffering makes your spiritual muscles to grow, realize this truth to receive His Grace and thus learn to say like Apostle Paul, " 9 [Jesus says] to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Cor 12:9-10). Without going through the struggles that God has ordained for us, we could never become strong as we are supposed to be.

If God allows us to live life without struggles, it will cripple us later in life. See the bigger picture of greatness in God that you will achieve in life through all your momentary struggles that you go through. Only God has the ability to work all things which are good and bad to work together for our good when we continue to lovingly trust him through our trials (Rom 8:28). With the increased trial comes a increased grace to handle it. So let us press on to perfection as long as we are here on earth, and then with great joy and happiness fly like a butterfly on the day of Rapture to be with the Lord forever. TRIALS TRANSCENDS PRESENT COMFORT AND TOUCHES ETERNAL CONSOLATION.

"2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." (James 1:2-4).

"The only way to learn strong faith is to endure great trials." - George Muller

God Has No Better or Worst Sinners, But Only Vile Sinners

The Judge and the Burglar

A large prosperous downtown church had three mission churches under its care that it had started. On the first Sunday of the New Year all the members of the mission churches came to the city church for a combined Communion service. In those mission churches, which were located in the slums of the city, were some outstanding cases of conversions—thieves, burglars, and so on—but all knelt side by side at the Communion rail.

On one such occasion the pastor saw a former burglar kneeling beside a judge of the Supreme Court of England—it was the judge who had sent him to jail where he had served seven years. After his release this burglar had been converted and became a Christian worker. Yet, as they knelt there, the judge and the former convict neither one seemed to be aware of the other.
After the service, the judge was walking home with the pastor and said to the pastor, “Did you notice who was kneeling beside me at the Communion rail this morning?” The pastor replied, “Yes, but I didn’t know that you noticed.”

The two walked along in silence for a few more moments, and then the judge said, “What a miracle of grace!” The pastor nodded in agreement. “Yes, what marvelous miracle of grace!” Then the judge said, “But to whom do you refer?” And the pastor said, “Why, to the conversion of that convict.” The judge said, “But I was not referring to him. I was thinking of myself.”
The pastor, surprised, replied: “You were thinking of yourself? I don’t understand.”

“Yes,” the judge replied, “it did not cost that burglar much to get converted when he came out of jail. He had nothing but a history of crime behind him, and when he saw Jesus as his Saviour he knew there was salvation and hope and joy for him. And he knew how much he needed that help.

“But look at me. I was taught from earliest infancy to live as a gentleman; that my word was to be my bond; that I was to say my prayers, go to church, take Communion and so on. I went through , took my degrees, was called to the bar and eventually became a judge.

“Pastor, nothing but the grace of God could have caused me to admit that I was a sinner on level with that burglar. It took much more grace to forgive me for all my pride and self deception, to get me to admit that I was no better in the eyes of God than that convict that I sent to prison.”

Truly I agree with the judge who has revealed a mighty truth by saying that the good man needs more grace of God than a bad man to realise that he is a sinner in need of a Saviour. It needs a great amount of humility for a good man to accept that he is equally a sinner like any other sinner who may be considered by all to be the worst of worst in the world. Jesus agreed with this statement and said to the good religious Jews, "... tax collectors and harlots [i.e. worst of worst sinners as the society considers them] enter the kingdom of God before you." (Matt 21:31,c). In other words Jesus agreed that the worst sinners easily entered in to God's kingdom by humbly acknowledging that they were sinners in need of a saviour than all those great religious so called good men who never felt that they were sinners at all. It took a lifetime of God's grace to bring a beautiful work of graceful spiritual art by God in the life of Paul the Apostle, who was a former Zealous Pharisee who persecuted the Christians, to finally say a few years before his death, "This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief." (1 Tim 1:15).

I myself have been realising this great truth day by day lately these days through the grace of God. Born in a good Christian home made me always think that I am a good person. This thinking deceived me to be a spiritual beggar until God by his mercy started to break me to reveal His truth in me.

May God break all of our prideful thinking and make us realise our inner spiritual poverty and our need for our saviour JESUS always in our life (Matt 5:3).

“What makes humility so desirable is the marvelous thing it does to us; it creates in us a capacity for the closest possible intimacy with God” - Monica Baldwin

You Have Not Failed, But You Have Found Out All The Ways That Won't Work

“Don’t Give Up”

Thomas Edison, probably the greatest inventor in history, only had three months of formal schooling. Yet his 1,093 inventions transformed the world, including motion pictures, mimeograph machines, the phonograph, and the electric light.

His secret? He defined genius as “one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration,” and he proved his definition by working for days at a time, obsessed with his projects, stopping only for short catnaps.

Failure never discouraged him. When about 10,000 experiments with a storage battery failed to produce results, a friend tried to console him. “Why, I have not failed’ said Edison. And then he continued saying profoundly, “I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

We need to have the right attitude towards failures in Christian life, as failures can become stepping stones for success. Don’t give up!

"35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise." (Heb 10:35-36).

Be Really Blessed!!

Many people of God mistakenly think that having all our needs is the real blessing of the Canaan Land that God has promised to all believers. But it is not. If living without any needs and wants in the physical realm is the greatest blessing that God has promised, then a lot of people in the world even without God are living like that.

Then what is the Canaan land we are going to inherit in the New Covenant?

Whatever things God has promised to give us is the promised land of Canaan for us in the New Covenant. So what are you waiting for? Fight by Faith to inherit all the blessings of God.

This is the reason in the New Testament the Scripture says,

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." (2 Cor 1:20).

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ" (Eph 1:3).

The next time someone says, "I am blessed,", don't be deceived to gulp it down through your throat, but check whether they are really blessed spiritually or else they are just saying that they are not in want physically and living as spiritual beggars internally.

The real blessing of God is first and foremost a spiritual one, after which comes the soulish, physical, financial and social blessings.

Apostle John prayed for believers like you and me saying, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2). Here he prays for the prosperity of all believers primarily in their soul spiritually after which he prays that they might also proper in heath and then in all things likewise. Apostle John did not bless the believer's first with physical and all blessings because he knew that the spiritual blessings of God when kept as the prime focus in one's life, will automatically bring all other blessings in to the believer's lives for the GLORY OF GOD.

I wish all of my dear Apostolics in Christ brethren a wonderful month full of God's Presence and lovingkindness. May God keep you all safe and secure in Him and open your spiritual understanding to more and more spiritual realities and supernatural experience of heaven on earth.
