JESUS CHRIST is the Lion and the Lamb, LAMB to all who BELIEVE IN HIM and LION to all who OPPOSE HIM. In His FIRST COMING he came as a LAMB, but in His SECOND COMING He is coming as a LION that devours all who opposes it. "... The Lion of the tribe of Judah" (Rev 5:5), will prevail. Praise the Lord!! May you be empowered to live like as the RIGHTEOUS LION OF GOD of the LINE OF JUDAH and also live like as the meek LAMB OF GOD to display the meekness of our JESUS THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN FOR US (Prov 28:1; John 1:36; Matt 11:29-30; Isa 53:7; Luke 10:3). !~! The TRUTH that JESUS took all our sins on the CROSS and shed His BLOOD to forgive our past, present and our future sins makes us free to live a life of intimacy and friendship with God, the Blood of Jesus MAKES US FREE from guilt and condemnation BY CLEANSING US AGAIN AND AGAIN through a simple step of CONFESSING ALL OUR SINS TO GOD (1 John 1:7, 9). I am thankful to my Lord Jesus for making it happen by HIS GREAT SACRIFICE for me. Today I am free from the power of sin which used to rule over me because of his Love which has covered me and cleanses me from all sins (1 Cor 15:17; Prov 10:12; James 5:20).

Be Anxious for Nothing!!!

"Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ( definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. 7 And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Php 4:6, AMP).

"Be careful for nothing - That is, be not anxious or solicitous about the things of the present life. The word used here - μεριμνᾶτε merimnate - does not mean that we are to exercise no care about worldly matters - no care to preserve our property, or to provide for our families (compare 1Ti_5:8); but that there is to be such confidence in God as to free the mind from anxiety, and such a sense of dependence on him as to keep it calm; see the subject explained in the notes on Mat_6:25.

But in everything - Everything in reference to the supply of your wants, and the wants of your families; everything in respect to afflictions, embarrassments, and trials; and everything relating to your spiritual condition. There is nothing which pertains to body, mind, estate, friends, conflicts, losses, trials, hopes, fears, in reference to which we may not go and spread it all out before the Lord.

By prayer and supplication - The word rendered “supplication” is a stronger term than the former. It is the mode of prayer which especially arises from the sense of “need,” or “want” - from δέομαι deomai, “to want, to need.”

With thanksgiving - Thanksgiving connected with prayer. We can always find something to be thankful for, no matter what may be the burden of our wants, or the special subject of our petitions. When we pray for the supply of our wants, we may be thankful for that kind providence which has hitherto befriended us; when we pray for restoration from sickness, we may be thankful for the health we have hitherto enjoyed, and for God’s merciful interposition in the former days of trial, and for his goodness in now sparing our lives; when we pray that our children and friends may be preserved from danger and death, we may remember how often God has interposed to save them; when, oppressed with a sense of sin, we pray for pardon, we have abundant cause of thanksgiving that there is a glorious way by which we may be saved. The greatest sufferer that lives in this world of redeeming love, and who has the offer of heaven before him, has cause of gratitude.

Let your request be made known unto God - Not as if you were to give him information, but to express to him your wants. God needs not to be informed of our necessities, but he requires that we come and express them to him; compare Eze_36:37. “Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them.”" - Albert Barnes

The greatest duty of ours is to keep giving all our needs, wants, sicknesses, problems, pains, difficulties, broken hearts, aching bodies, depressed minds, failing estates, estranged friends, continuing conflicts, irreparable losses, severe trials, dim hopes and inexplainable fears to the Lord who is continuously watching over us, if we have done our duty TO GIVE TO GOD with much thanksgiving for what He has done in our lives and look forward to receive all our petitions with thanksgiving, then the sign of God's authentic peace that we cannot understand will guard our wandering mind with confidence that will keep us rejoicing in the Lord for the things we are going to get for what we have petitioned for. Keep your mind in God's peace and let God take control of your situations. The answer may get delayed when God steps in, but it does not mean denial instead it means that the answer to your problem are in eternal proportions.

Stay Blessed in His Peace,

Abraham Israel

What Can Wash Away My Sin?

"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." (1 John 1:7).

God's life in Jesus was the light of men (John 1:4). When we renew our mind with the word of God and start to walk in the power of the New Nature of God within us, automatically the blood of Jesus removes the stains of our old sins which we have done and makes us cleaned in our soulish heart, till we can no more remember the guilt of the bad emotion that might have come to us because of sin (Rom 12:2; Col 3:10; Heb 9:14)

Once we choose to confess our sins, God our Father in Heaven is faithful and just to forgive our sins. The moment we confess our sins, the fellowship with our Heavenly Father will be restored because of His faithfullness to perform His Word (1 John 1:9; Jer 1:12; 2 Tim 2:13). We are not forgiven becuase of the act of our confession, but our confession brings the sacrifice of our Lord JESUS on behalf of us on the cross once again before God the Father and thus are forgiven (1 John 2:1-2).

Robert Wadsworth Lowry wrote this beautiful poem "Nothing but the Blood" in the 19th Century. Ever since, this has been a all time favourite song for the theme of the Blood of JESUS. Read the deep meaning of this song and be blessed,

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my pardon this I see -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing, this my plea -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Nothing can for sin atone -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
Naught of good that I have done -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

This is all my hope and peace -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

CHORUS

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

In the above song poem, we can see clearly that the blood of Jesus was shed by JESUS on the Cross for our pardon, cleansing and wholeness in our spirit, soul and body which has been tainted by sin nature. Nothing that we do for God can bring back the friendship our forefather Adam lost with God due to his disodedience in the Garden of Eden, except the precious blood of Jesus. This pardon, cleansing and wholeness through the blood of Jesus should be our hope, peace and righteousness. If we search for our soul to cleansed from our sins, the blood that flows out of Jesus' calvary Cross will become so precious to us and as a result of it we will be made white as snow. Then we will begin to proclaim our ultimate forgiveness, cleasing and made whole experience we received through JESUS to others saying, "No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus." Praise the Lord!

Our forefather Adam took one eternal wrong choice when tested by God and the result has been devastating, sin nature came in to all of us to control and destroy us without God and His goodness (Rom 5:12). We are not sinners because we sin, We sin because we are sinners. In other words, we are sinning in our life against God from the day we are born in to this world because of the indwelling sin nature that has become a part of all human being who are born on planet earth (Psa 51:5; 1 John 1:8, 10). Morality, Self-improvement, and Spiritual Teachings were unable to meet Man’s need for relief from sin's stainful guilt in the hearts of all men. So Jesus as a sinless lamb of God shed his holy blood and finally took all of our sins upon himself, and finally gave us God's life as a light within our new nature to make us walk in it and be His loving children's again for eternity. Nothing on earth or in heaven can wash us as clean as the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS!!! Praise JESUS!

When the apostles saw Jesus get transfigured for a moment in to His Divine standing as God by the Father's providence on a mountain where they went, they saw and said like this, "...and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light." (Matt 17:2) and "2 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them." (Mark 9:2-3). In these two different writings of the apostles, we see one describing the clothe of Jesus "as white as the light" and then another one describing as "His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them." Think about it, we have become as righteous as Jesus is when we have believed Him (2 Cor 5:21). So our sins were washed through His blood in such a way, the same description the apostles described the clothe of Jesus fits us exactly with our spiritual clothing too. We have become completely forgiven of our past, present and future sins and have also become as pure as He is because of the blood of Jesus (Col 2:13-14, 10).

Because we all sin as long as we live ont his planet earth because of the indwelling sin nature, we should give number one priority in our spiritual life to confess our sins and weakness when we sin, so that we will continue to live an abundant life which is free from guilt, lack of fellowship with God and strengthlessness to overcome sinful habits (Psa 32:3-5).

“If the guilt of sin is so great that nothing can satisfy it but the blood of Jesus; and the filth of sin is so great that nothing can fetch out the stain thereof but the blood of Jesus, how great, how heinous, how sinful must the evil of sin be” ~ William Bridges

Living in the Perfect Will of God

♈◎∂α¥‷ṧ Ѧρℴ﹩ṫøℓḯ¢ ℚü◎ṫε :

"If there is one possible way to do the perfect will of God, it is through submitting ourselves in prevailing prayer to God like JESUS did in the Garden of Gethsemane (Mark 14:32-42). This kind of prayer JESUS was able to do at the critical point of decision between doing His own will or God's perfect will, because of habitually praying alone the same kind of prayer all through his past life (Luke 9:18; 5:16; Matt 14:23; Mark 6:46; John 6:15). All the great Spiritual Strength we can exhibit in our life, is solely dependant on one thing Prayer! Prayer! Prayer!" - Abraham Israel

"Prayer is an effort of will." ~ Oswald Chambers

Read the following poem by William W. Walford which is sung as the all time favorite song in our Churches,

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Father’s throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief,
And oft escaped the tempter’s snare,
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
The joys I feel, the bliss I share,
Of those whose anxious spirits burn
With strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
Where God my Savior shows His face,
And gladly take my station there,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
Thy wings shall my petition bear
To Him whose truth and faithfulness
Engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I’ll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
May I thy consolation share,
Till, from Mount Pisgah’s lofty height,
I view my home and take my flight.
This robe of flesh I’ll drop, and rise
To seize the everlasting prize,
And shout, while passing through the air,
“Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer!”

We are ready to give farewell to our sweet hours of prayer only when we drop our robe of flesh and rise up to meet the Lord face to face. Until then saints, remember the Lord who sees your prayer done privately alone in your closet, will reward you openly before all men publicly. When you do prevailing prayer privately, remember to encourage yourself saying, 'Hey, you are on the way to be always in the perfect will of God!'

Abraham Israel

No Thorns NOW, No Crowns THEN

With out Thorny Crowns now, there can be no eternal golden Crowns then;
With out suffering with Jesus now, there can be no reigning in eternal Joy then;
With out loving the Lord and people with the unconditional Love of God now, we cannot have many eternal friends then;
Without laying our earthly life at the feet of JESUS now, we cannot expect a exalted heavenly life then.

So what do you want? Choose now and be blessed for eternity then.

"16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Cor 4:16-18, NKJV).

Iraq in the Bible

This is freaky, interesting and prophetic all in one!

 Subject: BIBLE AND IRAQ

1.       The garden of Eden was in Iraq .

2.     Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization !

3.     Noah built the ark in Iraq .

4.     The Tower of Babel was in Iraq .

5.     Abraham was from Ur , which is in Southern Iraq !

6.     Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq !

7.     Jacob met Rachel in Iraq .

8.     Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq .

9.     Assyria, which is in Iraq , conquered the ten tribes of Israel .

10.  Amos cried out in Iraq !

11.   Babylon, which is in Iraq , destroyed Jerusalem .

12.  Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq !

13.  The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)

14.  Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq .

15.  Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16.  Ezekiel preached in Iraq .

17.  The wise men were from Iraq .

18.  Peter preached in Iraq .

19.  The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in  Iraq !

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq !

However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon , Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia . The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and ! Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq , means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel , has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq .

To Be Happy and Rejoicing is a Quality Choice You Make Each Moment

The Bible says, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice!" (Phil 4:4, NKJV). This is one of my all time favorite Bible verse. You know why? For us to be happy we only need to take a good choice and not look at the circumstances we are involved in. I am happy always, because with God's help I choose to think positively and make a good choice always not to let my circumstances influence my thought pattern. Praise the Lord! When we make a good choice to rejoice, God responds by releasing a supernatural joy from our spirit-man in to our soul. REJOICE means RELEASE THE JOY WHICH IS WITH IN YOU BY YOUR OWN GOOD CHOICE. Thanks and Blessings.....♥Abi ☺
