Do You Pray And Sing With Both Your Spirit And Understanding?

Praying Supernaturally Natural!

"14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding." (1 Cor 14:14-15).

The very reason Jesus came to His people is to baptize them with the Spirit and of fire from heaven. This fire was revealed to the whole world on the day of Pentecost when those who were filled with the Spirit of God began to speak in tongues. There is not even a small clue found in the Bible about the fire of tongues withdrawn from the Church. God is pouring out more and more of His Spirit and His fire on all those who are seeking for it sincerely. This fire of God will tame the tongue of every person who is born in God and have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Nothing other than this fire of heaven has the ability to control our tongue.

This supernatural fire of tongues also have the ability to cleanse us and bring out a pure prayer and worship of sacrifice which is acceptable in the sight of our Father God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The purest prayer of faith is praying in tongues personally to the Lord and the purest form of worship is to sing in the spirit to the Lord. When we are doing both, we are giving thanks well. But at the same time we need to pray and sing with the language in which others understand when we are in public group prayer and worship. So do both, but do not neglect the other. Every one is supplied with the gift of tongues when they are filled with the Spirit of God, because God knows that the only way intimacy can be established with His children is when they start to move supernaturally natural through the prayer of faith which is prayed in tongues.

If you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, praise the Lord for it and keep praying in tongues in your personal worship to the Lord daily. If you have not yet received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, then sincerely seek for it and expect the Lord to give you. The fire of tongues is the external evidence of the internal filling of the Holy Spirit, so watch whether you are getting the utterance of the Holy Spirit within you and start to move you mouth and speak what He gives to you within.

When the fire touches you, you cannot but see the difference it brings in your spiritual life to be a witness to Jesus in all the world. Praise be to God for all His benevolent gifts and benefits that He has freely given to us in Christ Jesus. If we do not value this great gift of the Holy Spirit with the externals evidence of speaking in tongues, we will never receive it for a millions years because it is too precious for the Lord to waste it on those who do not seek for it.

May the Lord fill those who are still lacking this anointing, and those who have it, may the Lord help them to be quickened in such a way that they may become an house of prayer for all nations and pray without ceasing for the glory of God.

Happy In-dependence In God!

We as a nation are celebrating our 66th Independence day. The notable thing about it personally is that my mother and India has the same years of existence. Jesus has always been good to me in my life. He gave me a tremendous burden for our nation and I have been praying for it ever since. My father and mother too have been having a great burden for it in their lives too which I believe has been transferred to me.

Right from my childhood days I have seen my dad having two maps in his room stuck to the wall to pray. One is a world map, other is a India map. As I have grown up in this nation, I have been truly amazed by its great diversity. As my dad and mom have been missionaries with a heart of a pilgrimage, we have always loved to meet new people who are different from us.

India has a great blend of varities. You can see the most educated, rich, middle class, cultured and business people in the cities of India. But once you cross the cityline boundary, you can see peasants, rich land lords and a totally different culture altogether.

My dad pioneered a Church and have been pastoring ever since in a small city named as Erode in South India and then have gone on to all the villages around to start other small Churches for the village people. I have always enjoyed the poor people from villages around who have great faith though uneducated and also the educated people equally alike. They have all sincerely prayed for me and our family till date. Today I am what I am because of all the prayers of sincere saints who have prayed for me right from my childhood days.

As I look backward to my childhood days I vividly remember, how our nation of India has come up economically, culturally, scientifically, socially and industrially to be what it is today. It is all the grace of God that we are once again according to the end time prediction of the Bible, we are rising up to be one among the "kings from the east" (Rev 16:12).

The number six signifies working. In the sixth day God created man, it was the last day that God spent doing His Work and finished His work to completion, and it is the time we are likewise told to work! So on this special day of our 66th Independance, My prayer for all Indians in the whole wide world especially and those saints of all nations who love India is, "My dear Jesus, bless our nations and thank you for setting its boundary and preserving it for all these years. Thank you for all the soldiers and families who have died to defend its freedom and preserve its great cultural heriatage and divergence. We praise you for the Lord Jesus who has died to give freedom and liberty to us so that we could now live free from sin. As this is a time to work hard physically and spiritually rest in your finished work of Jesus who died for all of our humanities sins, strengthen and help all our country men receive the unconditional love of your heart in order to live in your supernatural peace, joy and righteousness and be saved from sin through receiving your only begotten Son Jesus Christ as their one and only Lord and Saviour of their lives. Bring prosperity spiritually, soulishly, physically, financially and socially to all the Indian and the saints of the Church in all the world of all nations. May this nation of India bring smile to your face and lift your name as its only source of existence. May India become a blessing to the whole world in the coming days. Thank you for thinking about India two thousand years ago itself and sending Apostle Thomas to preach the gospel so that we might receive true salvation in this land. We thank you, bless you and help us all glorify you as a nation together. In Jesus wonderful name I pray...Amen!!!"

Diffusing God's Fragrance!

The Smelly Teenager and the Dignified Deacon

His name is Tim. He has wild hair, wears a T-shirt with holes in it, jeans, and no shoes. This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of college.

He is brilliant. Kind of profound and very, very bright. He became a Christian while attending college.

Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. They want to develop a ministry to the students but are not sure how to go about it..

One day Tim decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and so Tim starts down the aisle looking for a seat.

The church is completely packed and he can't find a seat. By now, people are really looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says anything.

Tim gets closer and closer and closer to the pulpit, and when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet.

By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick.

About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the back of the church, a deacon is slowly making his way toward Tim.

Now the deacon is in his eighties, has silver-gray hair, and a three-piece suit. A godly man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks with a cane and, as he starts walking toward this boy, everyone is saying to themselves that you can't blame him for what he's going to do.

How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor?

It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy.

The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man's cane. All eyes are focused on him. You can't even hear anyone breathing. The minister can't even preach the sermon until the deacon does what he has to do.

And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the floor.. With great difficulty, he lowers himself and sits down next to Tim and worships with him so he won't be alone.

Everyone chokes up with emotion...

When the minister gains control, he says, 'What I'm about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget.'

'Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some people will ever read!'

I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today.
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way....
His love is always with you,
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares,
You know He will see us through.

When we show God's love towards those who are generationally, culturally and socially different from us, we are actually showing the living and the loving God to them. IT'S NOT WHAT YOU GATHER, BUT WHAT YOU SCATTER THAT TELLS WHAT KIND OF LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED! OTHERS CAN SMELL THE FRAGRANCE OF GOD ON EARTH THROUGH YOU ONLY WHEN YOU DIFFUSE IT THROUGH YOUR GOOD WORKS DONE THROUGH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! Christian Ministries are developed when we love people just the way they are. Trying to do a ministry without love is like blowing a loud horn in the ear of a deaf, so don't try to do it foolishly and religiously.
